Professional firearm safety training instills proper safety habits right from the start, preventing the development of dangerous habits or handling mistakes. Working with certified instructors in a structured environment ensures you learn crucial safety rules, proper range etiquette, and correct mechanics. This foundational training builds authentic confidence and guarantees you can handle, clean, and store your firearm safely.
In your first course, safety is the top priority. The class begins with a comprehensive safety briefing covering the universal rules of firearm safety. From there, you will learn the anatomy of a firearm, how ammunition works, proper grip, stance, and sight alignment. Most beginner courses start with dry-fire practice (unloaded firearms) to build comfort before moving to live-fire drills on the shooting range under direct instructor supervision.
Yes! We offer a specialized women self defense class designed to provide a comfortable, supportive, and empowering environment. This class focuses on situational awareness, threat de-escalation, physical self-defense tactics, and practical firearm safety, helping women build the mindset and physical skills necessary to protect themselves and their families.
Basic pistol training focuses strictly on the fundamentals of shooting—such as safety rules, weapon mechanics, accuracy, grip, and stance. A CCW training (Concealed Carry Weapons) course focuses on the practical and legal aspects of carrying a hidden firearm in public. CCW classes cover state laws, self-defense legalities, holster draw techniques, and situational decision-making under stress.
Your starting point depends on your comfort level and experience. If you have never fired a gun, we recommend starting with our Learn to Shoot or First Steps class. If you already own a firearm but want to learn defensive techniques, a basic handgun training or CCW class is ideal. Feel free to contact our team, and we will happily recommend the perfect class to match your experience and personal goals.
